Excellent charities…

I spend a great deal of my time pratting around in wigs doing silly voices.  It is a fantastic way to earn a living but it is basically pointless.  That’s why I try to do a little good as well.  But there are so many deserving charities doing amazing stuff, so I decided to choose a few and dedicate myself to them to try and make a teeny bit of a difference.

I am an ambassador for Sense About Science’s Ask for Evidence campaign and a mentor for Arts Emergency.

Still stuck for a charity to support?  Head over to the Project for Awesome website and watch a video from one of the hundreds of YouTubers who advocated for their charity in the Project for Awesome. P4A was set up by the Vlogbrothers and aims to decrease world suck.

Here’s my video for Dogs for the Disabled [2012]

And my video for Shelter [2013]

And my video for Arts Emergency [2014]

Don’t have oodles of cash?  Try loaning a small amount to an entrepreneur in the third world.  Kiva is a microfinancing site that lets you lend as little as $25 (~£15) with the aim of creating opportunity and alleviating poverty.

Don’t have any spare money at all, but still want to do something excellent? Well then, GIVE BLOOD and make sure you are a registered organ donor

This website is hosted by Evohosting.  I have found them to be quite excellent.  Good customer service and tech support.  You can follow them on Twitter here.
