Gemma trained at the Guildford School of Acting (thanks to a DaDA Award).

Her TV credits include Merlin, Hustle, Upstart Crow, Stath Lets Flats, Trying, Hitmen, Charlie Brooker’s How TV Ruined Your Life, Dead Boss, Home Time, Nurse, Code 404, and Rosie Molloy Gives Up Everything among many others.

On Children’s TV, she was Agatha the host of Relic: Guardians of the Museum which won the Children’s Entertainment BAFTA, as well as appearing in DNN: Definitely Not Newsround, Justin’s House, Hacker Time, Little Howard’s Big Question and Vic Reeves’ Ministry of Curious Stuff.

On radio she has appeared in The Lenny Henry Show, Newsjack and The Train at Platform 4 as well as being a regular voice on The Now Show.

Her own BBC Radio 4 special Gemma Arrowsmith’s Emergency Broadcast led to a series Gemma Arrowsmith’s Sketched Out both of which went on to be nominated for BBC Audio Drama Awards.

She is the voice of Greta in Beyond a Steel Sky.
